It was established as Mymensingh Medical College on 1 June 1962 at Mymensingh, which later shifted to its current campus on 5 October 1972. For general admission to any degree program of CMU, there is a minimum GPA requirement. That is 3.00/4.00 for both SSC and HSC with no subject grade below C level from recognized institutions from Bangladesh or abroad. Also, there is a minimum CGPA requirement which varies depending upon your educational background (if you are an international student).
